What You'll Achieve

Shape Global CAPEX & MRO Strategy:

• You will lead global CAPEX and MRO categories, coordinating a matrix of local buyers across sites and markets.
• You will define and execute category strategies aligned with broader Supply Chain and Indirect Procurement roadmaps, ensuring consistency, scalability and long-term value creation.

Drive Strategic Investments & Governance:

• You will own strategic sourcing activities for manufacturing investments, including processing, packaging, automation and infrastructure projects.
• You will ensure robust CAPEX governance through business case validation, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) optimization and performance tracking.
• You will support local Engineering, Maintenance and Operations teams while driving standardization and procurement leverage across the organization.

Enable Business Performance Through Collaboration:

• You will partner with Supply Chain, Operations, R&D, Quality, Sustainability and Finance teams to align business needs, accelerate innovation and support key strategic priorities.
• You will drive demand management, spend transparency and governance initiatives that improve decision-making and business outcomes.

Deliver Cost, Cash & Sustainability Impact:

• You will identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency, cash generation and carbon footprint through should-cost analysis, benchmarking and fact-based negotiations.
• You will champion sustainability initiatives, including Scope 3 reduction programs, helping Hero build a more responsible and future-ready supply chain.

Build Resilient Supplier Partnerships:

• You will develop market intelligence, supplier roadmaps and technology insights to strengthen sourcing strategies and anticipate market changes.
• You will build and manage strategic supplier relationships through Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), performance reviews and continuous improvement plans.
• You will implement contracts, supplier scorecards, qualification processes and contingency plans to ensure long-term supply resilience.
• You will lead supplier risk management activities, including risk reviews, mitigation planning and crisis readiness initiatives.

Accelerate Procurement Transformation:

• You will ensure compliance with procurement governance standards and Group policies.
• You will drive data quality, analytics and dashboarding capabilities to support data-driven decision-making and transparent reporting.
• You will contribute to procurement transformation, process harmonization and the evolution of a more centralized and strategic procurement organization.

Who You Are

Strategic Procurement Leader

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of procurement experience with a strong specialization in CAPEX and MRO categories.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and procurement transformation initiatives, driving alignment, standardization and sustainable business impact.

Value Creation Expert

• Proven track record in category management, cost reduction, value delivery, and strategic sourcing.
• Strong expertise in TCO methodologies, should-cost analysis, and complex supplier negotiations.

Relationship & Influence Builder

• Skilled at stakeholder management and influencing without direct authority.
• Experienced in Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), performance management, and building long-term strategic partnerships.

Digital & Data-Driven Decision Maker

• Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, Ariba, Coupa, Sievo, or similar procurement technologies is highly valued.
• Knowledge of CMMS, asset management systems, or e-catalog solutions is a plus.  

Global Collaborator

• Fluent in Spanish and English (C1 level).
• German language skills (B2 or above) are considered an advantage.
• Experience working within matrix or multi-site environments is highly appreciated.
