Global Packaging Data & Process Specialist (m/f/d)
What makes this opportunity stand out?
As a key member of our R&D Packaging team, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing global packaging master data and process flows. You’ll ensure data accuracy, drive process excellence, and support the harmonization of systems across our global organization.
This is what you can expect
- Act as the Global Data Owner for R&D Packaging, responsible for material data and bill of materials (BOM) processes
- Serve as the Global Data Steward for Packaging, overseeing timely creation, approval, and maintenance of packaging-related master data in S4Hana
- Be the Key User for the P2M Stream within R&D Packaging and actively supporting the rollout and implementation of our new ERP system
- Support the implementation and enforcement of key R&D processes such as IMT, AMS, and PLM at both local and global levels
- Analyze and align packaging-related processes within R&D and at the interface with adjacent departments
- Identify and drive opportunities for process harmonization, supporting global standards and ensuring scalability
- Provide packaging data creation and maintenance support for projects and marketing initiatives, ensuring on-time delivery in line with strategy
- Collaborate closely with global and local stakeholders including Spec Management, Global/Local Data Stewards, and other key functions, to drive alignment and foster a unified way of working across the group
This is what you need to be successful in this role
- 2–3 years of experience in process and systems automation, master data management, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA; experience with Power Apps is a plus
- Strong knowledge of MS Office and solid project and process management skills
- Excellent analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, global environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills - you enjoy working across teams and functions
- Fluency in English
- A proactive, structured, and results-driven mindset with a genuine interest in continuous improvement
