To strengthen our Research & Development team, we are looking for a Junior Specification Manager (m/f/d) who is passionate about product quality, regulatory compliance, and driving innovation from concept to market. In this role, you will be part of an international network, collaborating across functions and markets to ensure that our products meet the highest quality, nutritional, and sustainability standards. (Fixed-Term Contract 12 Months)

Your Responsibilities

Support innovation and renovation projects from concept to launch by actively participating in cross-functional project teams.
Create, maintain, and update finished product and raw material specifications.
Ensure specifications are provided accurately and on time in both German and English for local and international markets.
Support product registrations and market launch activities.
Collaborate with Marketing on artwork reviews, product claims, and consumer communication messages.
Ensure compliance with quality, nutritional, regulatory, and sustainability requirements.
Maintain relevant product data in SAP and specification management systems.
Work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and specification teams across the Hero Group.
Contribute to continuous improvement and harmonization of specification processes globally.

What You Bring

University degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, Food Chemistry, Quality Management, or a related field
First professional experience in the food industry, quality management, regulatory affairs, specification management, or a similar area.
Basic knowledge of food legislation, nutrition, and quality standards.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
A proactive, solution-oriented, and collaborative mindset.
Good project management and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent German and English language skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP and specification management tools is an advantage.
