For the global PHI (Process Harmonization Initiative) project team located at our headquarters in Lenzburg, Switzerland we are looking for a


Group Master Data Process Owner 100% (m/f)


Your challenge

In this role you will be responsible to establish a global master data strategy which aims to harmonize the master data of the Group as part of our digitalization strategy.  You will oversee the design, piloting and roll out of a global master data governance model and lead the further development of data structure and governance processes to realize this global data strategy.
In this role you report directly to the PHI Project Lead. You will interact with the master data process team, master data stewards in local organizations, process owners as well as with other internal and external stakeholders.



Your key responsibilities

•   Define the Master Data Vision and Strategy
•   Engage the organization in the realization of the strategy, connect with stakeholders to gather requirements.
•   Ownership of data governance processes & tools
•   Management of projects including data migrations
•   Management of Master Data architecture according to defined processes, guidelines and standards
•   Facilitation of changes initiated and required by data owners
•   Overall data quality assurance
•   Organization and delivery of trainings on master data governance processes
•   Reporting to data owners and MDM sponsor on status, progress & actions of MDM operation and initiatives 
•   Collaborate with the project team and business process owners to understand and document system requirements to enhance and optimize system capabilities
•   Collaborate with business system administrators and business process owners to understand and document data and integration requirements to seamlessly exchange critical process data 
•   Provide expertise and strategic partnership to the Hero organization on master data processes and system and related technology opportunities


Your profile
•    Senior data management expert with process leadership skills and general business function knowledge and FMCG background.
•    Experience and background at least for three years in master-data life cycle and harmonization projects
•    Process oriented with a broad understanding of Supply Chain, Finance and Customer Service functions and processes.
•    Data driven mindset
•    Familiar with IT in the domain of MDM/ERP systems (SAP), Integration (Middleware) and Application Landscaping.
•    Project experience in large ERP implementation project: design, build and integration of ERP/MDM systems.
•    Working with People: ability to maintain strong relationships amongst key stakeholders
•    Leading and Supervising: ability to lead master data community and governance
•    Persuading and Influencing:  communicates well with senior business leaders and stakeholders and is able to switch and translate easily between process/system terminology and business language.
•    Analyzing, Planning and Organizing: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to seek alternatives, and/or approaches to problems, and develop/implement solutions
•    Deciding and Initiating Action, Adapting and Responding to Change: performs well in an environment with a high level of ambiguity, can drive clarity and structure and is highly self-motivated.
•    Fluency in English (oral and written) is essential, any other language is an advantage
•    Some travel activity (once Covid-19 restrictions will allow it)
