About the role

We are looking for a commercially driven and relationship-oriented Regional Sales Manager to take responsibility for driving profitable sales growth and strong commercial execution across Baltics and Iceland.

In this role, you will report to the Head of Baltics and manage and develop our cooperation with assigned customers and distributors, translating commercial strategies into effective local execution. You will play a key role in strengthening distribution, optimizing portfolio and communicating market knowledge and insights to Nordics and Baltics category team to drive our common Category vision.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Category, Marketing, Demand Planning, Business Controlling, Customer Service, and Quality and act as a key commercial link between Hero Group and our external partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Distributor & Customer Management 

Manage and develop commercial relationships with distributors and customers in Baltics and Iceland to deliver agreed business objectives.

  • Commercial Execution 

Drive portfolio, assortment, pricing and campaign execution in line with agreed commercial frameworks and strategy.

  • Sales Performance & KPIs 

Net Sales Value, volume development and profitability for the region, identifying performance gaps and driving corrective actions in close collaboration with internal stakeholders.

  • Market & Consumer Insight 

Maintain strong market awareness, including competitor activity, pricing structures and promotional mechanics, to support category growth and informed decision-making.

  • Analysing & Planning 

Prepare and maintain relevant sales-and distributor data, analyses and pricing management to support commercial decisions and forecast accuracy.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration 

Work closely with Customer Service, Demand Planning and Sales & Marketing teams to meet distributor and customer performance objectives and ensure strong operational execution.

  • Market Development 

Support market development initiatives by translating commercial strategies into effective local execution plans.

About you

  • We are looking for a candidate with 2–3 years of experience working with Baltic markets, preferably within FMCG or a similar commercial environment, and with proven experience in managing distributors and customer relationships.
  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or a related field, or other education and professional experience considered equivalent by the employer.
  • You have a strong commercial and analytical mindset, combined with solid negotiation and communication skills.
  • You are able to plan, prioritize and execute your work in a structured and efficient manner, and you are comfortable working with data, with advanced skills in MS Excel and a solid overall knowledge of MS Office.
  • Willingness to travel within the region is essential for this role.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English is required, while knowledge of other Nordic or Baltic languages is considered a merit.
  • As a person, you are proactive, result-oriented and customer-focused, and you thrive in cross-functional and cross-market collaboration.
