Key Account Manager

The Role
We are looking for a Key Account Manager at Hero Nordics to take responsibility for driving sales and business development within the following customer segments; non-food discounters, Wholesalers, New Business and SVH/ Impulse.
This role requires a commercially driven “hunter” who actively identifies and builds new customer relationships and someone who is creative, solution-oriented, and capable of turning insights into tangible business opportunities.
Hero Nordics’ office is located at Löfströms Allé 5 in Sundbyberg. The position is a permanent full-time role, reporting to the Head of KAM. Travel is included in the role, primarily to customers, conferences, and other relevant events.
Key Responsibilities
As Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for achieving and exceeding sales and profitability targets. You’ll drive growth by acquiring new customers and developing existing accounts, while optimizing assortment, pricing, and campaigns to maximize profit. Your ability to analyse market trends and sales data will be key in identifying opportunities and shaping customer plans that deliver profitable growth.
Customer development is at the heart of this role. You’ll initiate new business opportunities and foster long-term relationships with decision-makers and buyers, ensuring every interaction is professional, solution-oriented, and aligned with Hero’s values. You’ll also play a central role in planning and executing campaigns and product launches, ensuring Hero’s brands are visible, well-distributed, and supported by insight-driven category development.
About You
• University degree in business, marketing, sales or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Key Account Management within FMCG, or from the customer side with responsibility for category management or purchasing
• Strong commercial understanding and ability to identify and develop new business opportunities
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Solid analytical skills and experience working with tools such as Excel, Nielsen, and SAP
• Ability to build long-term, trust-based relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
• Independent, structured, and proactive with a strong results focus
• Business fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
